(Re)connect to (un)known parts of yourself through sacred medicine

One way to get to know formerly unknown parts of yourself is to connect to sacred teachers that have been with us on this planet since the beginning of our species.
There are psychedelic substances available that when treated in a sacred way and connected with in a good set, setting and intention can be tremendous sources of self insight.

The term “psychedelic” is derived from the Ancient Greek words psychē (ψυχή, “soul”) and dēloun (δηλοῦν, “to make visible, to reveal”), translating to “mind-manifesting”.

The documentary: The Reality of Truth, is a great introduction as to what psychedelics are, how powerful they can be, and how one engages in them from a place of respect for yourself and the teacher.

In addition, multiple bestselling author Michael Pollan
wrote a great informational book on this subject called:

How to Change your mind: What the New Science of Psychedelics Teaches Us About Consciousness, Dying, Addiction, Depression, and Transcendence.

Diving deep into an extraordinary world – from shamans and magic mushroom hunts to the pioneering labs mapping our brains – and putting himself forward as a guinea-pig, Michael Pollan has written a remarkable history of psychedelics and a compelling portrait of the new generation of scientists fascinated by the implications of these drugs. How to Change Your Mind is a report from what could very well be the future of consciousness.

A third source of great information on this subject is a series called: Hamilton’s Pharmacopeia. Hamilton Morris dives deep in the history and shamanic use of different psychedelics like: Magic Mushrooms, Cacti like Peyote and San Pedro, Salvia Devinorum, 5-MeO-DMT from the secretion of the toad Bufo Alvarius and more.

And last, this short documentary from After Skool in cooperation with Gaia Psychedelica shows how psychedelics and the insight they can give a person can help them change unhealthy patterns and get people in more alignment with themselves. Psychedelics can help you reconnect to who you truly authentically are so you can then start creating your life from this reconnected place.

If you feel the calling and you use sacred medicine in a good way where you are careful about the set and setting then they can teach you a lot about yourself and your multidimensional nature.
